Which Session Should I Book?
Honey-Do will help you decide which session makes the most sense for you depending on your goals, budget & timeline during your consultation. Sessions are listed simply to help you understand the types of services Honey-Do provides.
Does Honey-Do Offer Virtual Sessions?
Yes! While Honey-Do may not be able to physically travel to every requested location, we can still provide our expertise to you virtually! We can help walk & talk you through your goals for your space & provide advice, ideas, & more. Contact us to see if a virtual session would be right for you & your space!
How Many Hours Should I Book for My Session?
This is different for every project & every client. There is a 4 hour minimum for each session; however, Honey-Do will help you estimate how many hours your project may take depending on what your overall goals are. There are several factors that go into this estimate that are different for every client’s needs. We’ll take a look at the photos of your space & discuss it in greater depth together during your complimentary consultation! Remember, you can break your session up over the course of several days or weeks…4 hours here, 4 hours there, etc. You don’t have to do it all at once.
Why Is There a 4 Hour Minimum for Sessions?
Honey-Do’s experience working with numerous clients has taught us that is the typical minimum amount of time needed to really start to make a dent in most sessions & leave our clients happy & seeing some progress! This minimum allows Honey-Do adequate time to get familiar with the space(s) we will be working in & the items we will be working with.
Why Is There a Shopping Fee If I Want You to Shop for My Storage Solutions?
Shopping for storage solutions is not as simple as ordering something online & hoping it works & fits. Honey-Do has the expertise to make these selections on your behalf to best maximize your space’s organization potential & take this burden off of you! A great deal of consideration, time, & energy is spent on this process to make sure the selected items are the aesthetic you like & want & to make sure it is within a budget you’re looking to stay in. When you elect Honey-Do to do the shopping for you, we come take all the necessary measurements, as well. One less thing for you to worry about!
Will Honey-Do Make Me Get Rid of My Stuff?
You’re in control of what stays & what goes. Honey-Do is there to guide you & give you a little nudge when we come across items that may not be serving you anymore or aren’t imperative to save. We help keep the process moving forward so you don’t overthink what stays & what goes.
Will I Need To Buy Additional Items Like Storage Bins, Baskets, etc.?
Only if you want to! Some Honey-Doers like to have a certain look & aesthetic when getting organized. Others aren’t as particular about that. If you already have storage containers, bins, baskets, trays, etc, we are happy to use those! If you’d like new storage solutions, you may snag those before your session(s) or Honey-Do can help you select what you may need. If you want Honey-Do to shop for you, you can select that service for an extra fee & it will be billed back to you. Storage bins, baskets, & the like are great tools for getting organized & helping you keep it that way. If you don’t have anything we can use to start off with, we may recommend you get at least a few to achieve an organization system that works for you!
Does Honey-Do Have Gift Cards or a Referral Rewards Program?
Yes! Gift cards are available in the form of a “Let’s Give a Gift” session! Simply let us know who the session time is for, & we’ll know they have some Honey-Do time to cash in when they’re ready & contact us! There is no minimum for this type of session. Additionally, when you refer someone to Honey-Do who books a session, you’ll receive 1 complimentary hour to use on a future session (with the exception of the “Let’s Give a Gift” session). Please remind whoever you refer to mention your name so that we can assign you the credit as our way of thanking you!
I’m Ready to Honey-Do This! How Do I Get Started?
We are so excited to work with you! Simply fill out the form here so we can get a basic understanding of your project & goals. It’s a good idea to snap some photos of the spaces you’d like some help in so that you can send those over eventually as well. You will then be contacted within 24-48 hours so we can set up a time that works for you for your complimentary phone consultation.
Do I Need to Do Anything to Prepare for Our Complimentary Phone Consultation?
Before the call, please email us with some photos of the space(s) you’d like some Honey-Do help with! This gives us a better idea of the full scope of your project, helps us determine what supplies we may need to bring with us, & helps us estimate how long it may take to us to complete it or how much we think we can accomplish in the amount of time you’d like to book. It’s also helpful if you can jot down a few notes about spaces in your home that could use some Honey-Do TLC!
What Are Honey-Do’s Rates?
Honey-Do has several session choices to get you back to your sanctuary! Many sessions even include some complimentary services. For more specifics & information on rates & weekend rates, please click here!
Do I Need to Be Home for My Session(s)?
It depends on the session type you have booked. For example, if you’ve booked a “Let’s Cut the Clutter” session, Honey-Do will need you to be present for the decluttering process since we cannot make the decisions of what stays & what goes without you. Other sessions will not require you to be home. We will determine this with you during your consultation & will work out the best plan of action for you & do our best to work around your availability. At the minimum, most sessions will need you to be accessible via phone or text every now & then.
Does Honey-Do Work on the Weekends?
Yes, Honey-Do can try to accommodate weekend session requests. Weekend rates apply.
What is the Tipping Etiquette for a Professional Organizer?
Tipping is very much appreciated but certainly never expected!
What Area of My House Should I Start With?
Honey-Do recommends you start in an area of your home that is causing you the most stress. Maybe your closet is out of control. Maybe your pantry & kitchen cabinets are making meal prep a nightmare. Maybe you can’t see the floor in your kids’ playroom. Whichever area you choose, we recommend you tackle one closet or room at a time depending on your needs & budget. We are happy to help you make this decision during your initial consultation.
